How is the price of de-icing set?

De-icing is the cleaning of the aircraft's relevant surfaces from ice and snow (decontamination). The price for de-icing varies depending on multiple factors.

In order to ensure safety and security of your flight, de-icing is required in winter operations. During the process of de-icing the surfaces of the aircraft (wing, tail, fuselage) are cleared of snow and ice. This is done in order to ensure that the aircraft is ready for flight and transport you safely to your destination.

The price of de-icing varies significantly depending on aircraft type, airport and amount of contamination on the surfaces of the aircraft. For each departure within your air charter agreement, there is a de-icing charge that will be invoiced after the flight. The rate will vary between 500EUR and 3000EUR, but may also be significantly higher if you are traveling with a large aircraft. On average one could consider one de-icing to be charged at around 1000EUR.

For your specific flight, we can estimate the de-icing charge. It is also possible to make an air charter agreement that includes the charge for de-icing.
